Batyah Ginzberg has rewritten and reinterpreted the Hebrew Psalms originally written by King David in an effort to achieve an impact on spiritual healing. They have a traditional Jewish orientation. Batyah Ginzberg views HASHEM as gender rich in gender orientation possessing characteristics present universally in both genders and as a non-physical imageless spiritual entity, not a mortal human being or a ghost. The Psalms included are Psalms 78-150.

Psalm 146

Celebrate YAH! Praise Her, O my soul! I will praise Her forever, and sing sweetly to Her for the rest of my life: She is the only One who is great, mortals do not save, don't trust them: Mortals bite the dust, their plans blow in the wind: Happy is s/he who has YAH and Sarah for her/his help: whose hope is in Her: Mother of heaven and earth, the oceans and all the fish, who keeps faith forever, who helps those who are wronged, and who cooks and feeds Her children--the children of YAH: She sets the captive free, YAH will buy you eyeglasses so you can see, She will teach you good posture so you will stand up straight and sit like a lady or be tall like a man, She loves you when you are good, She protects the convert, and gives courage to the motherless/fatherless and widow/widower, but She causes the path of bad people to be dangerous: YAH will reign forever, your God, O Motherland of Israel, for all generations of all your children and grandchildren, HalleluYAH!
