Batyah Ginzberg has rewritten and reinterpreted the Hebrew Psalms originally written by King David in an effort to achieve an impact on spiritual healing. They have a traditional Jewish orientation. Batyah Ginzberg views HASHEM as gender rich in gender orientation possessing characteristics present universally in both genders and as a non-physical imageless spiritual entity, not a mortal human being or a ghost. The Psalms included are Psalms 78-150.

Psalm 139

For the boss: Of Batyah. A psalm.

O God, you have examined me and know me: When I turn on my computer and when I turn it off, You know it: You know what I am going to email before I email it: You know all my thoughts and read my brain: You watch me as I get up and when I walk and when I sit down again: You know everything I do before I do it: You know what I am going to say before I say it and when I speak it is really You who are speaking through me: You touch me when I inadvertently brush up against someone: This in-touchness is beyond my knowledge--I do not know how You do it: You are always there: I cannot escape You and do not want to: You are in heaven and you are in Sheol. You are holding me up as I slip on the ice but do not break a leg: I think that when I turn off my bedroom light at night that You will not see me: But for You, night is as light as day: It was You who created my conscience, when my mother conceived me, You made me who I am: I praise You for I am awesomely beautiful! Your work is wonderful, I know it very well: My body was not concealed from You when I was in my mother's womb: Your eyes saw me when I was just an embryo, my character and life was already written up in Your book: Your brain is awesome, O God, Your genius thoughts unfathomable: I try to count Your thoughts as I try to control mine, but it is like counting drops of gasoline that I buy for my car tank: How great their number! I am still with You: O God, please destroy those who want to destroy me, get to them first before they hurt me: O YAH, You know I hate those who hate You: and I despise anyone who opposes You: They are my enemies and I hate them: Keep checking me out O God, and keep knowing my innermost thoughts: If I think negative thoughts, delete them from my mind, and guide me to love You, myself, good people and all things.
